Nice to Meet You!

🎙️ I’m riginally from Guanajuato Mexico. My journey is woven with the vibrant threads of my experiences as an immigrant growing up in the US. Did I mention I am also:

  • the oldest of 5

  • was the family interpreter and translator

  • the first in my family to go to college 👩🏽‍🎓

  • married and divorced, remarried

  • homeless, on government assistance, and understand what it’s like to have dreams I can’t afford

  • worried about returning to St. Louis ‘with my tail between my legs’

  • buried my children in 2020 and 2021 😭

💖 Back in St. Louis since 2016, I’ve been on a mission to make a difference even though at first I had no idea how I would do that.

🤝 Committed to the community, I now focus on small business support, economic development as a way to accelerate inclusive economic growth, and breaking down language barriers while advocating for language access every chance I get.

💼 Whether rocking my role at CORTEX, the BALSA Foundation, Stl Juntos or unleashing wisdom on Auténtico, I'm all about turning dreams into reality.

📚 An author and marathon conqueror, grateful for the journey and my tribe that supports my shenanigans. My biggest source of pride? Having raised incredible kiddos who inspire me to make the world a better place. 🌎✨

Join the familia and let's inspire change together!
